I am intending to remove the full lock set from the ph3 I am breaking.
Obviously being RF and not reprogrammable by tom, dick and harry - what would I need to remove control box wise in order to sell the set complete for another ph3 owner to be able to swap straight over?
Or is it really a case of Peugeot planet programming only?

for a HDI you would need
electronic side
ECU
BSI black Box (middle lower dash)
Immo chip in key
RCL board in key fob
might help too if you supply Ither the VIN or the 4 digit security code as you need the code for programming with PP
Mechanical locking
Key blade
ign barrel
door barrels
fuel cap
glove box lock
Hatch barrel

Thanks for that. I'm presuming it won't be different with a GTi.
I wouldn't be supplying the ECU with it, so I think I am probably better off offering the blades and locks themselves for people to swap over and retain their existing fobs.

Exactly the same as cully has listed above for all ph3s.
Definately supply the vin otherwise who ever buys it is f*cked if they loose the key!

Well apart from the hatch which doesn't have a key hole and the fuel cap being a scew on not lockable. Late 2000 model. I looked on servicebox and it's listed on there as supplied without locking fuel cap - not sure why.
Without the ECU though, it's pointless supplying the rest? It's not as if I need to sell the set, happy to just supply blades and barrells if someones had a break in or what not, but obviously if it was a case of requiring certain boxes I'd rather them have all they need rather than leave it in when it's scrapped.

You can sell the barrel set and key blade to him. Just make sure you keep hold of everything electrical including the two chips in the key!!
