HDI injectors? - Eeyore - 09-11-2012 Yo! Injectors are apparently noisy on my hdi! So what am i looking for here? Is it just replacing the seals (copper rings?) or is it much more likely that the injectors themselves or one of them at least arent working properly? Hopefully ill be getting some injectors dead cheap anyway but in case the sale falls through... there are no 306s in my local scrappers but there are lots and lots of 406s! Now i know that some of the 406s had the 2.0 hdi engine in so those injectors are compatible but what about the other 406 diesels such as the 2.2 HDI and the NA? Also if i take the injectors out will i need to put them back in with new seals or can you get away with taking them out a few times? RE: HDI injectors? - cully - 09-11-2012 injectors from any dw10 will fit always fit the same numbers as a set ie. replace one with the same number but you could change all 4 to a different number always renew the copper washers pug partnumber 198196 plastic guide rings can be reused if not broken torque settings for injector clamp 30Nm fuel pipe unions 20Nm numbers to look for 0445 110 008 0445 110 044 0445 110 062 0445 110 076 076 being the newest version and where to find them RE: HDI injectors? - Eeyore - 09-11-2012 well thats that answered!
