Interest in a crashed 306 HDi - Ed_van_Dijk - 08-11-2012

My brother sold his old 306 HDi D Turbo in Moonstone 2001 (cheap tax) last month which has now been written off. It was on about 160k.

Front end totally smashed, rad is pushed right in, wings, bonnet bumper gone, passenger door wont open as it now just catches on the wing. The windscreen is cracked and both airbags deployed.

Does anyone want it for £250 for parts? Its got cloth seats, all the black phase 3 interior plastics, cyclones with T1R tyres, brakes all good (although not used on the last outing) It will get weighed in on Saturday if there's no interest. No time to break myself either unfortunately.

Currently in Lowestoft.

Unfortunately it won't start, the battery has become disconnected in the crash and without some serious cutting work he can't get to it.

He will be stripping a few parts off before it goes to the crushers tomorrow. Its sad to see as she served me and my wife very well over the years before I sold it.

They are being saved, not sure if they are being kept or sold yet though!

Someone want to tell me how to get the injectors out?

RE: Interest in a crashed 306 HDi - Toms306 - 10-11-2012

Remove fuel line nuts, remove injector clamp bolts....should just pull out then. Smile

RE: Interest in a crashed 306 HDi - Poodle - 10-11-2012

Sam, why are you buying injectors that are 50k older then you current ones?

RE: Interest in a crashed 306 HDi - Eeyore - 10-11-2012

thats a very good point. Hopefully because these ones work better than my current ones!
