Seats coming forward for mot - kernow_joe - 30-10-2012 Do both seats need to come forward to let people in and out of the back seats? Or shall I just remove the back seats for the mot? RE: Seats coming forward for mot - darrenjlobb - 30-10-2012 Would imagine they do as its there only exit, but may be wrong, just rip them out anyway, who needs rear seats :p RE: Seats coming forward for mot - Curt - 30-10-2012 I'd imagine so... if in doubt just remove it, it's such a quick job RE: Seats coming forward for mot - kernow_joe - 31-10-2012 exactly my thoughts, three bolts and they're gone, may aswell go whip them out now, and see if I have a resisitor to fool the lack of passenger air bag while I'm at it. .. RE: Seats coming forward for mot - Matt - 31-10-2012 Remove the seat belts too. I spoke to my mechanic when I had only partially stripped the Rallye and he said it would fail if the seatbelts were in. Again on a two min job ![]() RE: Seats coming forward for mot - Poodle - 31-10-2012 Anyone know what spec resistor i need to stop the airbag light if i'm removing them...? RE: Seats coming forward for mot - Matt - 31-10-2012 1.2 I think. RE: Seats coming forward for mot - kernow_joe - 31-10-2012 Well I couldn't be f*cked I think it had been like that for a few years and never got any advisories. And my next question was what resistor would I need, so cheers matt. You talking about actually removing the airbag from passenger side yeah? RE: Seats coming forward for mot - Poodle - 31-10-2012 Found it eventually, 3 ohms apparently. This is according to stevieg, can't find any other reference to it.
