running without a/c - kingy - 27-10-2012 Right, I've got a horrible noise coming from around pullies or that kind of area. I've been told it was my water pump so I had that changed along with the cam belt but the noise is still their. Then I was told it was the idler pullie so changed that but the noise is still their so now it only leaves the a/c pump. Now, do I risk getting a new one or is it a case of putting a smaller belt in to by pass the pump. RE: running without a/c - Jonny81191 - 27-10-2012 take the belt off, run the car. it'll at least tell you if it's aux belt or cambelt RE: running without a/c - kingy - 27-10-2012 (27-10-2012, 08:47 AM)Jonny81191 Wrote: take the belt off, run the car. it'll at least tell you if it's aux belt or cambelt Had all belts changed RE: running without a/c - Danny2009 - 27-10-2012 I have a working air con pump if you need one.
