You can clean the hot side and cold side housings when you take them off to clock it if you want

RE: turbo cleaning - bayley - 22-10-2012

clock it ? lost me mate, lol.

RE: turbo cleaning - 4WayDiablo - 22-10-2012

You need to take it apart to turn the cold side outlet to point where you want it to

RE: turbo cleaning - zx_volcane - 22-10-2012

and the hot side off so you can rotate the cartridge to get the oil drain pointing vertically down

rite with ya,never own a turbo car before lads.whats the best cleaner

RE: turbo cleaning - Dave - 22-10-2012

wire brush, very unlikely you will need to clean it as it gets hot and burns everything off anyway, and shite shoukldnt have been going into the intake anyway - if it has then the turbo will be f*cked.

the impellars are a bit dirty and their is about 1mm of play in the shaft.
