DIY roll cage kit, sorta. - Rippthrough - 21-10-2012

I've got a spare main hoop and two a-pillars bent up in ROPT 550 CDS tube if anyone wants to buy them to make your own cage - you'll still need some straight tubes but at least you'll have all the bent bits ready Big Grin
Hoop is made to fit a none-sunroof car with the headlining removed and should fit close enough for you to stitch weld to the shell/roof to stiffen the car.
Ends are left oversize for you to fillet to your other tubes/own car.

£150 ono.

Just thought I'd see if there was any interest for those of you who don't want to travel/leave the car hours away for weeks and don't have a tube bender at home!
I can also do just rear hoops if you want to make yourself a half cage, £55, available in both non sunroof and sunroof versions.

Failing that I've a slot either next weekend or the weekend after to do a rear half cage, £375 with single diagonal in the rear or £425 with a full cross inc. fitting. You'd need to leave the car overnight usually.

If you absolutely strip it (headlining/rear windows/get the tar soundproofing scraped out of the rear footwells/boot area) before you bring it, then I might be able to turn it around in a day provided you get here early with it Big Grin

'm sure there's an old tractor laying around down there that could donate a temporary one.

Hmmmmmm, tempting, wish i had the money spare.

Is this going to be an ongoing offer?

Possibly, but after the next 2-3 weekends I've a job on that'll take 2-3 months so probably won't be able to take much on then.

One I did this weekend with the sunroof version of the same hoop, you can just about see where it's stitch welded down the b-pillars.

Can even get the headlining in with that one, if wanted:
