Oil stabiliser - Ben - 17-10-2012 Anyone use Lucas heavy duty engine oil stabiliser? About to buy some but as its quite expensive I thought I'd see if anyone has any reviews first? RE: Oil stabiliser - CJ_Derv - 19-10-2012 Iv used it in the past but didnt notice any difference, maybe on a really worn engine it may be of some benifit as it thickens the oil and claims to help it stick to moving parts but i changed to fully synthetic so was thinner so its doing the opposite IMO RE: Oil stabiliser - daddyfixit - 19-10-2012 put half a bottle in a shitroen picasso hdi after the owner ran it dry of oil !!! been going about 2 years now and still hasnt thrown a rod !!!! |
