Painting/Dying materials - Pugmarshall - 05-10-2012 Anyone dyed their headlining? I'm not sure about using spray paint as it flakes off etc I've tried Autoglym interior dye, it's shit. RE: Painting/Dying materials - Eeyore - 05-10-2012 i tried lining my headling in suede which was a massive fail so i had to buy another one. Which i then sprayed black... however people keep touching it and rubbing the paint off so it has white patches on it now. Dye will still be patchy... the best thing is to reline it in something... but do a better job than what i did! I think the glue from the first attempt has helped second the second attempt better. I.e a better surface for the second lot of glue to adhere too.
