Anyone dyed their headlining? I'm not sure about using spray paint as it flakes off etc

I've tried Autoglym interior dye, it's shit.

i tried lining my headling in suede which was a massive fail so i had to buy another one. Which i then sprayed black... however people keep touching it and rubbing the paint off so it has white patches on it now. Dye will still be patchy... the best thing is to reline it in something... but do a better job than what i did!

f*ck it, I'll just give it 2 cans of matte black then!

I have done three so far. Get some good material glue and just glue material to it. I did it with a suede like material works well.

My lastest attempt.

Might be a bit far away to help. The hardest part is the part where the door handles go. The rest is pretty easy.

Just glue it correct, both the liner and the material.

That actually looks a damn good job, inspired me to give it a go!

That is the second attempt on that head liner so don't worry if you mess it up. I think the glue from the first attempt has helped second the second attempt better.

I.e a better surface for the second lot of glue to adhere too.

Ah right I see, I might cover it in glue to dry then do it again then
