This
no one likes paying road tax but point is, we all have to so just do it instead of wasting coppers time having to pull you over to give you a bollocking about it
next you will tell us you have no insurance!

Well if your skint then you dont have the money to drive. I dont know how you got away with it but do you really think if you had of argued it and gone to court, the judge would let you off when you say "i had intentions of buying tax...when i could afford it"

RE: lucky day - 1616six - 04-10-2012

What an absolute dick.

Bless your heart for spending £800 on it, bad times.

If you cant afford £121 for 6mths tax, SORN it & wait til you can afford it.

All I can say is fingers crossed that they punish you next time, this sort of thing makes me fume..

RE: lucky day - Toms306 - 04-10-2012

Everybody speeds, doesn't bother me, as long as its not 100 in a 30 lol.......

But no tax!? Dick! Sounds like you're still not even bothered about getting it asap after being caught!?

Lots of people have a severe lack of funds atm, yet we still pay for tax and insurance seeing as its a legal reqirement.

Pisses me off when people don't bother paying for these AND get away with it as well.

RE: lucky day - Matt - 04-10-2012

Should have had your car crushed. Driving without tax also invalidates your insurance iirc.

Total cock. Tax it or do t bloody drive it. Angers me when people get away with stupid shit

RE: lucky day - 1616six - 04-10-2012

I bet you feel like a complete bell end for posting this thread now!

You think we'd all be saying 'well dun m8 i fink il cancel my insurance n c if thay let me off 2!!!!!!!!'

RE: lucky day - puglove - 04-10-2012

Haha love the responed to this. As soon as i read the 1st post i knew this was coming.

But really lack of funds??? Iv just bought a house and everything to go in it so my lack of funds far out weighs yours and my tax has run out but you dont see me driving my car around because i will tax it again when i have the money.

********* And its people like you that are responsable for insurence premiums being so high **********

Rant over

RE: lucky day - Eeyore - 04-10-2012

As the others said I have no idea how you got away with it and you could have lost out big time. its not worth the risk!

Leave it on the drive then and f*cking walk!!!

Can't afford the tax dont drive simple !!!

RE: lucky day - lolsteve - 04-10-2012

Is a bit silly driving with no tax, since if the po-po had decided to go the proper route and do you then it would have cost more than the £120 or whatever it is. However I will agree you got lucky with the cop letting you off, just don't push it ok Smile

Re: lucky day - kyleo92 - 04-10-2012

I drive for a living...

I spent the last of my wages on my tax and a shitty bedsit I Stopped at in London this week for work... I haven't eaten since Tuesday lunchtime and haven't had a fag since yesterday morning.

I still paid because it's a legal requirement...

I get a parking ticket for being over my time limit by 6 minutes but can't be let off because I didn't have funds to pay my time..

RE: lucky day - puglove - 04-10-2012

Just to add to sams conment

Had you have not paid your tax you could of eat and smoked all you like and still drove your car because apparently its ok to drive without tax as long as you get away with it

RE: lucky day - Jonny81191 - 04-10-2012

What a total cock.

I seriously hope you get pulled again and your car gets crushed. It'll teach you a lesson.

Skint for a bit then I'll tax it? f*ck off, if you have no tax, leave it at home and save enough to tax it.

£800? Wow, my heart bleeds for you.

Re: lucky day - kyleo92 - 04-10-2012

But I need my car to get paid and feed myself lol...

Vicious circle...

RE: lucky day - 4WayDiablo - 04-10-2012

Does having no tax usually carry point? I thought it was usually just £200 fine and car siezed
