Best place to tap for IPP - zx_volcane - 28-09-2012 never mind, just drilled a hole in the case and tapped it out RE: Best place to tap for IPP - CJ_Derv - 28-09-2012 was going to say you can get a fitting used when plumbing into a test bench thats what ive got from local derv specialist cost £2 and guage screw straight in RE: Best place to tap for IPP - zx_volcane - 28-09-2012 Lol, the wonders of knowledge eh? I've tapped a 1/8 bsp and going to run hose to gauge in dash, prefer to do it the awkward non oem way, with added swarf bonus RE: Best place to tap for IPP - Dave - 28-09-2012 Your pump still on the car?! This is what I did with the pipe/gauge, although I had the pump off/half strimmed to remove the swarf that falls out into the pump! Good God no, its in a million little pieces on the bench (aka the kitchen table). Spare pump I'm modding / building up at a snails pace, but prob all good to go back together now and see if it works! I'm just paranoid swarf has found its way into some little orifice |
