Bad glow plugs Ngk bosch.... - 306__xrdt - 18-09-2012 Does somebody know wich glow plugs are bad and stay away from? Best glow plugs for Peugeot 306 TD? Does anybody heard off Iskra glow plugs? i read on other forums they are same good as Bosch glow plugs. I have now NGK glow plugs in my car but not very happy about it, pretty quick start but after one year they are going bad now. I read also on other forums it sems to be the cooling svitch meter that is not properly working and therefor the timing is incorrect when the engine is hot ore cold. RE: Bad glow plugs Ngk bosch.... - zx_volcane - 18-09-2012 Halfords own brand whilst cheap on trade, melt in about 5 seconds using veg/bio - so I'd avoid Currently using Beru and they're going strong... RE: Bad glow plugs Ngk bosch.... - Mitch - 18-09-2012 I got some ngk ones from halfrauds a few months back, roughly 10 k ago, were brilliant at first but recently you can tell that they are getting tired, no doubt i will have to change them again when the winter starts to kick in! RE: Bad glow plugs Ngk bosch.... - 306__xrdt - 19-09-2012 Yes i bought new bosch today i think they are the best for peugeot 306 td, yes correct ngk are good but dont last that very long, after one year on the car they are getting tired already. RE: Bad glow plugs Ngk bosch.... - ginge191 - 19-09-2012 Unipart do some good glow plugs; used them throughout my time on Veg oil and never failed me, great start up AND are NGK branded (read the small print on the packaging, quite amusing ) |
