New Key Fob Needed - Ash J - 17-09-2012
After some pricks broke into my car yesterday and tried to set it alight, I've decided I need to get a working key fob and programme it to my car so I can set the alarm.
Quote from Peugeot today for a new fob was £144!!
Apparently if I can get hold of any working fob, I can put the chip from my key in it and re-programme it to my car with the receiver in the roof. I know the procedure, just need to source a key.
Mine is the IR type (not RF) and car is a Phase 2 '6.
Does anybody on here have a working one they would sell, or does anybody work for Peugeot and can get me a discounted price for a new one?

Last time I checked, a new IR fob was only £80ish, second hand fobs can be hit and miss, and you can only really tell you have a duff fob after it runs its new batteries down in under a week
