my coolant has started dropping in the past few weeks.

there are no leaks visible anywhere.

loses about 1 litre every 120 miles

what could be the cause of this and what can be tried to stop the leak?k seal?

didnt lose one drop of water up until last few weeks Sad

Pressure test system check metal pipe running around back of block and little rubber one above gearbox this connects too metal one can pinhole and be unnoticed as heat from turbo dries it up

you got a wet passenger footwell? possible heater matrix or headgasket.
or pipe behind engine, metal one on mine had a pinhole in it

No wet footwells.

where does the pipe on the back of the block go to?

goes from the plastic block which iirc bolts onto block where water pump is and then to the thermostat housing mines a 1 pipe some have 2 pipes

oh i think i may have a spare btw if you need it £10 posted bud

my bianca was loosing water from behind injector 1, theres a small water take off there

RE: D turbo losing water - Kwik - 05-09-2012

k seal is the worst thing for the xud's. clogs up way more then the leak. steer clear of using any leak fixer on these cooling systems

put a chocolate egg in the rad?
