morettes problems... - declantg - 25-12-2011 Ok, so the morettes were fitted and sprayed, But the indicators seemed a bit loose so decided to ask here before driving. This went well until some f*cking pikey stole my indicators! Is there a way to permanently secure them? Re: morettes problems... - 4WayDiablo - 25-12-2011 someone stole them? WTF lol Re: morettes problems... - declantg - 25-12-2011 WTF indeed... Re: morettes problems... - Connor - 25-12-2011 Iirc theres a little tab and hook system on the ph1 lights, in which you have to depress a little lever and it slides a locking tab into place. Now I don't know how secure that makes them, or if its just there to stop them falling out when driving ect. Re: morettes problems... - declantg - 25-12-2011 Where abouts is this lever? I no there is the clip at the top bit and the bottom Re: morettes problems... - Connor - 25-12-2011 Im not sure how to explain it lol but its like a little metal lever on the headlight Re: morettes problems... - declantg - 25-12-2011 Connor Wrote:Im not sure how to explain it lol but its like a little metal lever on the headlight Erm, no idea where you mean Re: morettes problems... - Connor - 25-12-2011 Yeah im crap at explaining lol if you're still having problems in a couple of days, ill grab some pics of mine when im back home Re: morettes problems... - declantg - 25-12-2011 Cheers man, gonna have a proper look tomorrow Re: morettes problems... - londondan86 - 03-01-2012 I'd also appreciate some info on this my p1 morettes always spit my indicators out. I have to bang them back in before every journey! Re: morettes problems... - springs - 03-01-2012 Where its circled should be a metal lever with a white clip. This is where they clip to on the original phase 1 headlights. Re: morettes problems... - Connor - 03-01-2012 Oooooh shit, totally forgot about this lol but yeah, thats what I was on about^^ RE: morettes problems... - declantg - 03-01-2012 I'm still a bit unsure about this =/ although I do have one indicator Sent from my HD7 T9292 using Board Express Re: morettes problems... - Chris - 04-01-2012 Motettes have screws in the same place to secure the indicators. If you so wish you can fit the white plastic bits that ph1s have atached to the lower wing suport to keep the rear of the indicators where it should be, this also makes them more secure.
