Forged Pistons, Rings, Rods, ARP Bolts - sachspower - 25-08-2012

good morning

I'm changing my peugeot 306 HDI 250hp to achieve but .....
I do not know the limits of the pistons and connecting rods ... They told me that the rods can withstand up to 250hp, is it true?

I was wondering where to find Forged Pistons, Rings, Rods, ARP Bolts

I am Portuguese and I have difficulty speaking English

someone can help me?

From what i've heard in the past the standard internals will take up to around 230bhp

RE: Forged Pistons, Rings, Rods, ARP Bolts - sachspower - 25-08-2012

I heard that the pistons could stand 200hp and 250hp rod

and where I can get internal forged?

Forged interals would probably have to be made to measure as i don't think there are any if at all that make forged HDi internals off the shelf

I saw the draft of the TD user darrenjlobb these rods:

Darrenjlobb is probably the best one to answer these questions; he's aiming for higher bhp than 250 (i assume) and has the best experience in this area.

Darrenjlobb é provavelmente o melhor para responder a essas perguntas, ele está apontando para maior de 250 cv (presumo) e tenha a melhor experiência nesta área.

I recorded it on the forum because you are known for alterations and ease of finding parts.

Darrenjlobb already left more than one engine but even so it is a 1.9 TD and mine is a 2.0 HDI

He's built a new engine...

Put up a project thread! Let's see what you're building!

Didn't Brynllwynog or whatever his name is, from TDOC, go fully forged with his last build...? Failing that i'm sure Jammapic from the same forum would be able to help as he has forged rods for the XUD, which are a straight swap afaik.

RE: Forged Pistons, Rings, Rods, ARP Bolts - Midnightclub - 27-08-2012

No, he never went forged AFAIK it blew running just over 200bhp.. Not sure about jp either I knew he had hdi rods so unless he's got them on his new build?
