For Sale: Phase 1 Sigma Dturbo - ginge191 - 09-08-2012

As titled; GI into how much could this be worth or if theres any interest. Will be sold at the end of Septemeber..

Engine Specs:

1.9DT engine (XTDT Model) @ 160k
Bosch Conversion with ground LDA pin with lines and injectors
K03 Turbo running 26-28PSI ( on MBC )
New turbo inlet - faster spool up
Front GTI brakes
de-cat -> midbox -> straight pipe exhaust set up
Oil catch tank
New cambelt, water pump, tensioners etc.
New cutch (@ 152k)

All major engine work carried out by KrisB

For anyone that hasn't been in my car, it pulls like a train up to 60/70mph and continues but the power eases off. The car has been built for my spec with NO corners cut. Any questions about the selling or the car itself, please post in here. Thanks!

Exterior Spec:

TA Technix front adustable coilovers, also new droplinks.
Rear Disc beam conversion, lowered to match with new discs and pads
205GTI Speedline alloy wheels in anthracite grey (minimal kurbing)
de-badged rear and smoother front grill in matt black
matt black rear spoiler
black masked headlights with LED sidelights
paint work in general is pretty good for the age of the car - i enjoy keeping the car clean and the bonnet has minimal pebble dash.
wind deflectors

Interior Spec:

Half leather seats front and back - again, very minimal wear and tear.
XTDT spec so - electric windows front and back, mirrors and sun roof.
Boost gauge
JVC headunit with USB and AUX ports.
Hidden speaker parcel shelf
Alpine spg-17cs front speakers with tweeters and crossovers.
Rear boot install with JL 12WXv2-4 sub, Alpine 800W amp. The audio setup isnt made to the be the heaviest around, but gives a sufficient bass level for individual use.

RE: GI: Phase 1 Sigma Dturbo - cwspellowe - 09-08-2012

Lol, pebble dash. Round here that means runny poo so i'd hope the car doesn't have much of it!

Car was tidy from what I saw though mate, GLWTS if it goes ahead

RE: GI: Phase 1 Sigma Dturbo - londondan86 - 09-08-2012

Nice looking p1 mate!! I would expect 7-800 quids and to the right person maybe a tad more. Glwts pal!

RE: GI: Phase 1 Sigma Dturbo - ginge191 - 09-08-2012

Cheers lads; and thanks Chris, it's nice to have genuine feedback without sounding too bias when selling!

I'd say £900 is a reasonable asking price considering the 'recent' Cambelt etc Smile

Anyone looking for a dturbo then; point them this way Smile

RE: GI: Phase 1 Sigma Dturbo - Niall - 09-08-2012

Scrap value maybe if your lucky?

Big Grin

RE: GI: Phase 1 Sigma Dturbo - ginge191 - 09-08-2012

Thanks...

Any serious input; in fairness, theres a few island chaps that would enjoy this car Smile!

RE: GI: Phase 1 Sigma Dturbo - 4WayDiablo - 09-08-2012

Isn't your mate on the island after a car like this?
They guy with the 1.8
And yeah don't see why you can't get 7-800 for it
How much T&T?

RE: GI: Phase 1 Sigma Dturbo - ginge191 - 09-08-2012

yeah thats the one, seems to play quite a lot on the value of a car this age

RE: GI: Phase 1 Sigma Dturbo - ginge191 - 09-08-2012

Definitely. Last MOT come back all clear, NO advisories or fails, and wasn't a dodgy, cheeky back garage jobby Smile

RE: GI: Phase 1 Sigma Dturbo - Scott - 09-08-2012

That's a shame to see mate, mind if I ask why you're thinking of selling?

Why would you need a car on a rock 100mx200m

Few reasons; early days to say why, hence the GI

RE: GI: Phase 1 Sigma Dturbo - declantg - 09-08-2012

I really hope theres another 306 on the way

RE: GI: Phase 1 Sigma Dturbo - ginge191 - 10-08-2012

Any more offers/opinions on this one... feels horrible to sell, may end up breaking in all fairness if i dont find a buyer or much interest. Undecided

RE: GI: Phase 1 Sigma Dturbo - Tom - 11-08-2012

If i had the money lol... I think your pretty far from cornwall though :/

RE: GI: Phase 1 Sigma Dturbo - ginge191 - 12-08-2012

I'm happy to take the car half way or arrange something, this is no bother Smile

RE: GI: Phase 1 Sigma Dturbo - Anton - 12-08-2012

I'd say around 600-750.

RE: GI: Phase 1 Sigma Dturbo - ginge191 - 12-08-2012

I'm fairly sorted on a price; think i'll ask £900 (to cover ferry'ing/fuel across etc) and if it doesn't reach that i think i'll end up breaking and scrapping it. Undecided

RE: GI: Phase 1 Sigma Dturbo - puglove - 12-08-2012

I thinking breaking it will be where the best money is for you mate, to any in who dosnt know about 306's/Dts its worth like £500 unless you can find some one on a forum that wants it and know what all the tuning on it means, then yeah £8-900 is resonable

RE: GI: Phase 1 Sigma Dturbo - ginge191 - 12-08-2012

I'm not fussed particularly about the money; as in getting back what I've put in, it's the principle of it. I couldn't let it go for much less than £900 I don't think :/

RE: GI: Phase 1 Sigma Dturbo - puglove - 14-08-2012

I know what your saying mate, you have to weigh it up though, do you want it gone (when the time comes) or are you not bothered and will just keep it hanging around untill the right person comes along?

With those two options comes two different prices, if that makes sence.

RE: GI: Phase 1 Sigma Dturbo - ginge191 - 15-08-2012

Yeh i agree pal; i can't really afford to keep it running and so i would ideally like to sell it, but not just for any odd price; it would need to be the right price.

RE: GI: Phase 1 Sigma Dturbo - sweeney1987 - 15-08-2012

But realistically youre going to fing it tough getting 900 breaking it, plus youll be waiting ages for parts to be sold etc

RE: GI: Phase 1 Sigma Dturbo - Matt - 15-08-2012

So far of the xsi I've made £700 still got the shell and engine. If you break good luck with it mate Smile
