What rad? - WiNgNuTz - 01-08-2012

Anyone know the part number for a replacement radiator for an R plate dturbo?
The one I've found so far that looks like the right on us labelled 2CN191, would that be about right? Huh

Here is the one I've found.

There are a few variations, the bottom hose clip can be either a metal retaining clip or the plastic twist lock design, make sure you get the right one as it will not fit if you get the wrong one and the bottom hoses are nearly £40 from pug!

the other variations are with or without inbuilt header tank which is normally ph1 has inbuilt tank, ph2 has a separate header!

Or scrapyard and Henry Hoover tubing to convert between the hose types.

FTW!

ROFL, well there is always that option if you like a bit of an epic bodge, but if you don't happen to have a henry hoover you can steal some pipe off I would go for getting the correct rad in the first place Big Grin

lolol. I contemplated this when I bought the wrong rad but wasnt sure if it would hold any pressure but as Mark said, epic bodge!!

In response to the op's question I believe that the Nissens rads are supposed to be the best for these, not too badley priced either.
