ScangaugeII users! - HDIkyle - 08-07-2012 Right i got mine yesterday and fitted it, As usefull as it is with stuff like temps and codes my main use is MPG and Cost of fuel used features. Not sure if this is normal at first until it gets used to the car but whenever i take my foot completely off the throttle it gives stupid Current MPG readings which in turn send the AVG MPG reads all wrong. ![]() Not been on a constant motorway run yet to to get it to stay at a set rate but town driving is the main time as its asoon as the throttle is shut off it bangs up to triple figures RE: ScangaugeII users! - Dum-Dum - 08-07-2012 You need a few fill ups to get it calibrated. Think mine ran about 40% out IIRC RE: ScangaugeII users! - cully - 08-07-2012 as above calibrate it at every full tank fill up mine is spot on when calculated against pen and paper method ![]() and yes taking your foot off the throttle coasting gives 9999mpg instantaneous RE: ScangaugeII users! - HDIkyle - 08-07-2012 But that then makes the avg go up to stupid numbers like 70+ lol no way in hell my HDI gets that RE: ScangaugeII users! - procta - 08-07-2012 toms306s eyes will water if he sees that mpg RE: ScangaugeII users! - Toms306 - 08-07-2012 (08-07-2012, 05:28 PM)procta Wrote: toms306s eyes will water if he sees that mpg Yeah even I can't average 9999mpg. ![]() RE: ScangaugeII users! - kingy - 08-07-2012 from what ive read tom your not far off that.
