306 project number 3 - Pompey306mark - 06-07-2012

So picked this up last night.

Need a new drivers side hub as wheel bolt snapped off in the hub, maybe new passenger wheel bearing.

Over heating, blowers only work on full blast on number 1. 2,3,4 all do nothing.

Would love to plasti dip the whole car and get some bigger alloys on it.

Mark im more worried about getting it fixed for the time being lol! Im not having a plastic car!! Haha x

RE: 306 project number 3 - Pompey306mark - 06-07-2012

Lol, its not plastic. It will give a cool matte finish.

Also it will be fixed by the end of the weekend. Pus we need to do something with all the dent and scuff's. At least to make it look normal again.

RE: 306 project number 3 - smanfa - 06-07-2012

Yeah ill probably sort that out when I take over the car, x

RE: 306 project number 3 - Pompey306mark - 06-07-2012

Yea a list of things to do lol.

By tomorrow it should be healthy again and bright pink lol.

I hope the tyres are ok on this thing, when I am driving it tomrrow, it looks like there will be a massive down pour of rain, thunder and lightening.

Oh and whoever said the 306 is a good handling car in standard form you are wrong, maybe the 6 but I have never driven a standard one.

This thing has loads of body roll, handles like shit and does not go around corners well at all. after some mods they handle well but in standard form not good.

RE: 306 project number 3 - smanfa - 06-07-2012

I will consider having it plastic pink but I like the colour at the moment lol x

RE: 306 project number 3 - Pompey306mark - 06-07-2012

Yea it's a food colour, but dented to hell.

306 project number 3 - Jake - 06-07-2012

Correct amount of doors.

RE: 306 project number 3 - Pompey306mark - 06-07-2012

Depends on your point of view.

RE: 306 project number 3 - smanfa - 06-07-2012

It has a couple mark lol x

RE: 306 project number 3 - ginge191 - 06-07-2012

So who's car is this sorry? what are the plans for this besides getting it going?? Also, if you're changing the sigma colour, would you be interested in swapping bonnets??

RE: 306 project number 3 - smanfa - 06-07-2012

Mine ginge, ill be taking it the day I pass, yeah if I change the colour it's all yours x

RE: 306 project number 3 - Pompey306mark - 06-07-2012

This one belongs to sams dad. He has a broken arm at the moment so can't drive it I believe. When he did drive it, it was only to go to the local shops.

So never went very far, hence why he did not know about the over heating issue.

Just need to get it ready for the MOT, which hopefully it will past.

Then when Sam passes her test, it will be hers.

You do realise the bonnet is dented and stone chipped to hell.

...you can keep it Blush

But sounds good, be nice to see this into a real ladies car! get it pink sam, or at least get some pink on it! we all love a bit of pink ninja

RE: 306 project number 3 - smanfa - 06-07-2012

Oh dont you worry, I will get it pinked out eventually lol x

RE: 306 project number 3 - smanfa - 06-07-2012

Oh and mark, it's not that bad lol! You make it sound like iv picked it up from a scrap yard! Lol. It has one dent on the front and I didnt see any stone chips? So it can't be that bad lol x

RE: 306 project number 3 - Pompey306mark - 06-07-2012

That's cos I knew what ginge wanted it for. You can clearly see the dent in the front.

And it's covered in stone chips and lacquer peel and badly touched up stone chips.

Hence why I said about sorting it out.

RE: 306 project number 3 - Connor - 06-07-2012

What was project number 2?

RE: 306 project number 3 - smanfa - 06-07-2012
