Quick oil pump pressure Q. - n0v0s - 25-06-2012
Is there any difference between the hdi/xud oil pump spring rates?
Thd hdi oil pump i have is a low milleage one so i'm putting that on my xud, along with the xud strainer (as it looks different) and xud pressure relief spring... but if the hdi oil pressure is the same as xud, i'll leave the hdi spring in.
(The hdi has hydraulic lifters so i'm guessing they have different pressures?)

Not sure about the Hdi But the XUD standard is 3bar
i uprated my XUD oil pump spring from a 3bar spring to 6bar spring and engine turned into a siv and then had to fix all leaks :S
