How i got home... - Slam Wagon - 22-06-2012 So this is how i got home on wednesday... ![]() Rear caliper decided to start leaking after i changed my disks and pads on tuesday. I hate trying to source parts with no transport. Ended up getting a new caliper and fitting it thursday after siezed bolts and lots of rain i finished at 10pm. Luckily it was in time for a car show at a local business on friday morning. In other news i spotted this by my mates house ![]() RE: How i got home... - Grant - 22-06-2012 Never good mate. I'm with RAC for this reason as I discovered that they have the contracts for Ferrari and Porsche and as such have low loaders where the bed actually slides off the lorry and more or less flat onto the ground ![]() RE: How i got home... - Connor - 22-06-2012 When you changed the rear disc/pads, how did you get the piston in? Did you wind it in or just press or back in? RE: How i got home... - Poodle - 23-06-2012 Shitty deal. ![]() Hmmm, gold 5 door, no badges though... Had plenty of planks to make sure it didnt catch getting on. Was interesting trying to get the wheel straps on as ive just put some 5mm spacers in the rear make the gap pretty much nothing. As for the brake i screwed the piston in and im just hoping its all good for pugfest next week. Am i right in thinking that champagne is a very common colour? There ate loads of 306s by me but this is the only gold ive seen. RE: How i got home... - Matt - 23-06-2012 Champagne and it's petrol?!?!? Wtaf!!! |
