This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - Toby - 17-06-2012 RE: This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - silverzx - 17-06-2012 Oh god. RE: This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - ginge191 - 17-06-2012 Great work from max indeed! 146bhp? not too shabby, he just needs a decent box so he can use that power! RE: This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - Daniel306 - 17-06-2012 Nice, iv just bought a 205 dturbo too, need to find a Xud9 to put in it tho RE: This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - Dan! - 17-06-2012 epic hahaha. and well done on the power figure Max, 168hp is impressive RE: This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - darrenjlobb - 17-06-2012 Tis a 180hp DT for sure, Think it pulled 164 or something, but it literally lit the clutch up on every run / never put down anything all the torque, so reading will have been far down.... I guesstimated 170-180hp before, so 164 with clutch slip seems very realistic to me...altho it has to be said, whos stupid idea was it to put the dyno at 90 degrees oppositre a f*cking stand, and fail to bring fans for the rad AGAIN!! Either this is a cracking little car of which im highly jelous of, but I think Max knows that RE: This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - Jonny81191 - 17-06-2012 awesome car, well done max! Re: This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - Alee83 - 17-06-2012 Tiss a sweet ride, would love a ride in it one day.... RE: This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - MissTap_GTI6 - 17-06-2012 HAHAHA! Such a funny post! RE: This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - Scott - 17-06-2012 That was awesome. Was great seeing the car on the dyno, but such a shame the guys running it didn't seem to be all that again. Great seeing the car Max, and great effort getting it all done and I'm really glad we had it on the stand This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - Jake - 17-06-2012 Epic ! Gutted I missed this on the dyno! RE: This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - Toby - 17-06-2012 (17-06-2012, 08:53 PM)Scott Wrote: That was awesome. The guys are also supposedly emailing us the graphs... RE: This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - strictly_perv - 17-06-2012 That is brilliant! Will be uploading a vid soon of it. I am pleased with the result, how accurate it is I don't know but what dyno's are really accurate? Gutted about the clutch, it started doing it on the way back in fifth so new clutch time now, might just have to go for a new valeo, depending what I can afford really. RE: This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - Scott - 17-06-2012 I've also got a decent video of it mate, I'll get that uploaded too RE: This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - Matt - 18-06-2012 I'm proud to say I got coaled by max. Haha Max you car is faptastic! And I want one right now!!! Haha RE: This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - 1616six - 18-06-2012 Brilliant, what an epic car Dyno guys were very poor - as darren has already pointed out they let off way too early, seems as though as soon as it touched 5k they were off the pedal, not an accurate reading imo! Think an email or two needs to be sent next year to see if they can get a decent dyno set up sorted, even if its a tenner more! RE: This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - jammapic - 18-06-2012 So if someone's car had cooked what would they do? What a bunch of amateurs! Cracking little car this - shame about the clutch. I would've thought with that sort of power you'll be getting on for needing a paddle.... JP This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - Matt - 18-06-2012 Toby's nearly got cooked, shit it's coolant everywhere lol RE: This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - jammapic - 18-06-2012 Just cos it got so hot running up? RE: This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - Dave - 18-06-2012 Those dyno's were abit fail tbh, they didnt position themselves well, nor did they have any cooling fans! RE: This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - Scott - 18-06-2012 Don't forget turning the cars off pretty much straight after finishing the final run! RE: This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - Toms306 - 18-06-2012 Eurgh!! Thats disgusting lol.......surely you need a bigger turbo now to burn that fuel thats coming straight out the exhaust!? Or do you just have some epicly big boost leaks? Makes my coal pile look shite now lol...... RE: This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - Scott - 18-06-2012 It was mainly just the dyno people not knowing how to drive the dervs and just matting them off boost. RE: This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - strictly_perv - 18-06-2012 It has a big blower, thats just the result of the dyno tester bogging it for the LOL's when I said not to it was totally clean on boost but the pics don't really show it. RE: This pretty much sums it up. [Pic heavy] - Toms306 - 18-06-2012 Ahhhh right, I was gonna ask if that was on or off boost lol, I probably shoulda done. :p Tbh, from what I've heard/read, that dyno seems bloody awful, even compared to the one I did at college lol! :? |
