xud down on torque? - zx_volcane - 08-06-2012

Right since doing the headgasket, changing the turbo for the police siren variety and adding a mbc, the black zx seems down on low down torquey power.

Still boosting up to 25psi fine.

If I turn up the fuel any more I get smoke + fuel economy goes into none existence (especially if cruising on the motorway).

Just down't have the same kick up the arse as it did.

50-70 is slower too.

Not sure what to make of it atm, where should I start looking?

Spool up later with new turbo? Changing turbo affects everything...

was something to do with either the leak back recirculation gubbings and pipe thing, or the fuel filter housing as bypassed it all with an inline filter and its good as new.
