I ripped out the air conditioning motor & pulley, all the pipes put a new rad in removed the aircon rad
fitted a rallye fan belt.
The problem is the ac light still comes when turning heating to cold or when its a warm day, is it part of the ecu or a relay
I know the easy fix is to pull the bulb out, I just wondered if the ecu is effected if it still thinks theres ac even thou theres nothing left of it lol

The AC had its own separate ECU (bitron unit). I'd just leave it be ...nothing else will be affected.
