New technique to restore faded plastic trim - ekjdm14 - 07-08-2020

Just seen this on my YT feed, Kent Bergsma may not be to everyone's taste but he's a bona-fide car guy and Mercedes nut. He's been trying a new method to restore the black plastic and rubber trim etc on one of his cars, looks well worth a go if you're into that kinda thing (maybe when it's not sweltering hot outside though haha!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8UGwk1Hai4

personally, I've been dressing plastics with sunflower or coconut oil for a few years and it lasts pretty well if you get plenty on & let it soak in for 10mins (just wipe it off thoroughly afterwards or it goes horrible and sticky) but this might be a more permanent solution
