Newbie with 306 Cabriolet - jamesw.ham - 15-06-2020
Evening all,
I have a 2001 306 Cabriolet (SE I think).
I rather like the car, and I still think they’re a nice design, but I’m at a crossroads. There are just a few too many niggles with mine now, so I either get stuck in and sort them out, or get rid.
I really don’t want to scrap it, especially after doing a road trip round Eastern Europe a few years ago. On the other hand, the driver’s window regulator cable has corroded through again, and I won’t relish repeating that job. Similarly a lot of the rubber has perished and I’m not hopeful about finding ways to replace that, and some other annoying plastic parts.
So I thought I’d put it to the forum. Are these cars well regarded these days or ten a penny? And is there much supply or demand for spares for them?
