hey guys

after changing my break shoes on my 306 i also decided to change the drum and bearings (which i had my local garage press) but when it came to refitting the drum i can only get the hub nut to 30nm on the torque then the drum locks and wont move. please guys can someone help as its driving me nuts  Angry

got the bearing pressed all the way in and the clip fitted?

yeah and checked with old hub and both look 
the same

removed the old bearing iner race from the stub shaft?

yeap all clear... going to refit the old drum tomorrow see if it still dose the same

Incorrect brakeshoes? They could be too wide so when you tighten the nut it's pressing against the shoe.
 Or another possibility is that a worn inner drum face creates an indent where the old shoe would of ran, new shoes have a square edge causing it to be pressed against it when the nut is tightened.
