Oil leaking - Louis123 - 20-05-2012 Was looking around for a boost leak before as I was running 24psi but it was only making 21psi so screwed boost compensator all the way in for now, (gosh it was slow!) and as I put my hand under the boost compensator nut and pulled it out there was oil on my hand, anyone heard of leaks being around there? As you can see there is abit of oil on the black pipe you can see The oil from the leak Re: Oil leaking - Ricky - 20-05-2012 Yeah it's normal for a bit of oil to travel down the pipe coming from the intercooler. Unless it's pouring out I wouldn't worry. Good idea to take the pipe off and give it a clean out though, make sure it's not getting blocked. Re: Oil leaking - Louis123 - 20-05-2012 Ahh that's cleared that up then I thought It was coming from the seal around it, what's best to clean it out with Re: Oil leaking - mark_airey - 20-05-2012 It could be that the diaphram has gone in the compensator meaning that the oil would be getting pushed past the seal instead of collecting in the compensator like they normally do |
