change radiator to none hdi radiator - Leemus - 23-02-2017 i want to remove the hdi radiator and replace with a different 306 radiator that has the built on expansion tank on the side. in the process of tiding up the bay and would rather a one piece unit than the expansion tank ontop looking a bit naff. Does anyone know if its a straight forward swap or will i need alot of piping aswell? RE: change radiator to none hdi radiator - dr_jekyll - 23-02-2017 Remember doing this when i phase 1 converted my old hatch but caused no end of heating problems. Seen a few people using ali 180sx rads but this is somthing id like to look into aswell. Have been wondering if its poss to swap it for a 3" core honda rad as there smaller but volume will be similar Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk Pictures useless but had done it Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk change radiator to none hdi radiator - bashbarnard - 23-02-2017 Really easy to do. No worse than a rad change. You can do most of it with no issues just need some extra pipe and some joiners. Lower rad pipe as well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
