Does anyone know if a be4 gearbox sits at 30 degrees same as a xud sits or do they sit at 15 degrees?

15, think some have castings on them for 30, but all the ones I have played with are for 15 degree engines. The DW10 in mine now sits at 15 rather than 30 and has a hydro clutch conversion. Can see project thread for more info...

be4 encompasses about half a dozen bellhousing shapes and angles, ew dw tu dv ep xu..
you need to be a bit more specific.

Other than the TU ones though from what I can see they are all the same bell housing, and same angle offset....

xsara vts be4 is 30 degrees.
EP engines are different iirc.
oh and the be in the relays is different too iirc.

I have seen your thread darren that where I could the idea of doing a hydro clutch just need a gearbox to suit the xud engine and keep the original mounts

206 box has hydro setup straight bolt on jobbie. just need to sort what clutch you wanna use

Also a 1.9d 206 box is hydro set up be need to find out if is 15 r 30 degrees. Is there any stumping on the casings of the box?

Will be for a 15 degree engine setup though.
didnt realise this to be fair. i thought it was the engine mounts that were on the tilt more.

What are you trying to get out of it? Longer crushing legs? Just find a 206 eco box for the final drive.
Hydraulic clutch is quite a easy modification if you were to go down that route.
