Bushes for Wishbones (New Question Post #8) - bigcheez2k3 - 06-01-2017 Need to change my wishbones so will be building up an pair of arms I have here. After searching on here and ebay I've found the parts, just need someone to confirm I'm buying the right stuff, e.g. not shit that falls apart next week. Open to alternatives too. RE: Bushes for Wishbones - zx_volcane - 06-01-2017 looks good id assume the front bush to come in pairs, not singles - ask the seller. no one is going to replace just one half RE: Bushes for Wishbones - Eeyore - 06-01-2017 what a great company febi are. I mention 4 because, as Welshpug has said, they can come in singles. Found this out when my friend ordered some 205 bushes and we only ended up with enough for one side, not both. I will message the seller though, just to confirm. RE: Bushes for Wishbones - miles - 08-01-2017 I'd go TRW, Febi wishbones on 205's are poor, never had a set last more than a year RE: Bushes for Wishbones - bigcheez2k3 - 10-01-2017 How do I remove the front bush from the wishbone? I seem to remember the advice being to burn it out, still the best idea? I've seen Bash's vid so I know how to get the p-bush off. RE: Bushes for Wishbones (New Question Post #8) - welshpug - 10-01-2017 chisel on the edges of the top hat. RE: Bushes for Wishbones (New Question Post #8) - Piggy - 10-01-2017 Fire. Then the centre will drop out. Then you'll find a join in the middle. Get a chisel/punch on that edge and smack away. I"ve always found chiselling at the top hat edge just gets me no where and makes a mess as its quite soft there RE: Bushes for Wishbones (New Question Post #8) - Poodle - 11-01-2017 As above, chiselling that top hat only works when it's a clean and relatively recently fitted. |
