Heater matrix? :@ - Louis123 - 17-05-2012 So all my windows keep steaming up even with the heaters on full and the windows down, it's losing water when the heaters are on full, and when they are they footwells get p*ss wet through, put a radweld in cooling system about 3-4 weeks ago and was fine until yesterday morning it started again. Could This be a leak in the heater radiatior? Or is it something else. If it is a heater matrix problem is it a dash board job out? Really p*ssing me of as I can't see anything when I'm driving and when I wipe it with a de mister pad it doesn't shift it. Any advice? Re: Heater matrix? :@ - darrenjlobb - 17-05-2012 Sounds like the heater matrix.... Yes dash out to replace, although its not to bad, but good half day job if youve never done it before... If your cant be arsed / can live without the heater, you can just bung the pips in the engine bay.. Re: Heater matrix? :@ - Louis123 - 17-05-2012 Cheers Darren, found a few guides so will end up changing it Re: Heater matrix? :@ - shrimo - 28-05-2012 any tips on how to do it or bunging up the pipes mine has just gone too Re: Heater matrix? :@ - mark_airey - 28-05-2012 shrimo Wrote:any tips on how to do it or bunging up the pipes mine has just gone too Cut pipes in engine bay, bung the ends with something, secure bungs in place with jubilee clips |
