only thing I can think this would be is if someone has either sprayed or applied some kind of coating to the lenses.
Are they glass or plastic lenses?

Nah it is normal with plastic lenses, seen it quite often. Happened to my ABM angel eyes as well. I don't know what the fix is though!

Are they genuine Valeos?
only ask as i seen this thread on the focus forum the other day may be of help, it's about 2 different makers of the same light but someone replied about the peel and film layer.
