Hard to find a low milage 306 engine though. Unless you know of one RE: 307 engine into 306 - Paul_13 - 14-09-2016 Buy my engine and turbo setup? ;p RE: 307 engine into 306 - bashbarnard - 14-09-2016 lol. its for daily use i think it may be a tad much. no harm in asking how much though RE: 307 engine into 306 - welshpug - 14-09-2016 couldn't care less about mileage, its all about condition, and also what someone considers low mileage is probably nothing to a well serviced engine anyway. 307 engine into 306 - bashbarnard - 14-09-2016 (14-09-2016, 06:50 PM)welshpug Wrote: couldn't care less about mileage, its all about condition, and also what someone considers low mileage is probably nothing to a well serviced engine anyway. Again more likly to find a well looked after 307 engine really. Most 306s nowadays arent really the best looked after RE: 307 engine into 306 - darrenjlobb - 14-09-2016 Wouldn't worry what the engine is from tbh, Just go through it, id rather buy a 250k motor and go right through it than some random "low milage 307" engine..... 307 engine into 306 - bashbarnard - 14-09-2016 (14-09-2016, 07:46 PM)darrenjlobb Wrote: Wouldn't worry what the engine is from tbh, Just go through it, id rather buy a 250k motor and go right through it than some random "low milage 307" engine..... I understand what youre saying i usually do this myself however budget is an issue here as its just my daily and id quite like a decent fuel pump annciliries with it etc. Any other suggestions would be appriciated though The current motor snapped a belt on 285,000 miles and most of the engine annciliers look like absolute crap and it had a fair few issues nearing the end hence the new lump and not banging a set of rockers in it and carrying on.
