306 and 206 alloy wheel fitment - Welshy_Pete - 14-05-2012 The alloy wheels fitment diffrence on the 306 and 206 what diffrence will there be? 306 93 to 01 4x108 Pcd 15 to 20 Offset 65.1 Bore 206 98> 4x108 Pcd 20 to 25 Offset 65.1 Bore Re: 306 and 206 alloy wheel fitment - 4WayDiablo - 14-05-2012 Well you have it all written out there? I don't get what your asking? 10mm spacers usually Re: 306 and 206 alloy wheel fitment - Scott - 14-05-2012 The only real difference is the offset...you need to run spacers (and tyre sizes, actually) to fit them to a 306 without them scrubbing. I just know like ford peugeot then vauxhall vw what fit what etc. So the 10mm spaces will bring the wheels out more I take it? Is that cause they tutch something? thanks Re: 306 and 206 alloy wheel fitment - Welshy_Pete - 14-05-2012 Scott Wrote:The only real difference is the offset...you need to run spacers (and tyre sizes, actually) to fit them to a 306 without them scrubbing. What will 205 40 17 from 206 wheels be like on the 306? Re: 306 and 206 alloy wheel fitment - 4WayDiablo - 14-05-2012 Get the offset right and it will be fine The 306 optimum etc is about 18 Re: 306 and 206 alloy wheel fitment - Toby - 14-05-2012 Welshy_Pete Wrote:Scott Wrote:The only real difference is the offset...you need to run spacers (and tyre sizes, actually) to fit them to a 306 without them scrubbing. Depends on the offset buddy. For 205's you do need to be careful with offset, especially if your car is lowered. Re: 306 and 206 alloy wheel fitment - Welshy_Pete - 14-05-2012 I was thinking of keeping the height standard for now on the 205 40 17s Re: 306 and 206 alloy wheel fitment - 4WayDiablo - 14-05-2012 Standard height on 17's looks silly especially on the rear Re: 306 and 206 alloy wheel fitment - Welshy_Pete - 14-05-2012 4WayDiablo Wrote:Standard height on 17's looks silly especially on the rear How much mm need lowering on the back to match the front? What other sizes like 15 or 16inch will be fine with out any lowering? Re: 306 and 206 alloy wheel fitment - Joe - 17-05-2012 it ''doesnt'' need to be lowered but it looks alot better Re: 306 and 206 alloy wheel fitment - puglove - 17-05-2012 If you dont space them it will rub the back of the arch wearing the tyre and plastic. If you dont lower it it will look like a monster truck If you dont lower it you will look like a chav who has just bought a set of 17s cuz they sick you will also need longer bolts or bolt on type hubsentric spacers do not be tempted to buy cheaper non hubcentric spacers as it will be dangers as the wheel will have no sprigot to sit on And be warned 17s with a 40 profile will make for a rough noisy ride hope the info helps a bit? It sure does thanks Re: 306 and 206 alloy wheel fitment - Welshy_Pete - 19-05-2012 puglove Wrote:If you dont space them it will rub the back of the arch wearing the tyre and plastic. The hubcentric spacers is there certon makes which are good ones over crap ones? Re: 306 and 206 alloy wheel fitment - puglove - 19-05-2012 Not especially mate. Obv you get better brands and cheaper brands but to be totaly honest there is no difference in preformance. |
