Lights flashing - KevinTW - 23-08-2016 I don't have the handbook for my GTI6. When I open the door the lights start flashing. The car starts ok. What is going on? On a brighter note I repainted the wheels myself, cleaned  greased and painted the calipers, relpaced the handbrake cables and changed the clutch inc the cable and fork bushes. Lovely car. RE: Lights flashing - Midnightclub - 23-08-2016 Sounds like the alarm's going off, but the sirens broken (standard) RE: Lights flashing - 1616six - 23-08-2016 It's been a while since I've had one but near the wiper stalk on the side of the steering cowling you should see a button... hold it down whilst turning the ignition on. Should reset it.
