here's an idle thought - - - Magenta Sunset - 22-08-2016 just out of idle curiosity, how many 4x4's have the same wheelbase & track as a 306? (discuss/argue) RE: here's an idle thought - - - bigcheez2k3 - 22-08-2016 Doesn't an Evo have the same wheelbase? Sure I've seen a swap, unless I'm thinking of another car. RE: here's an idle thought - - - Magenta Sunset - 22-08-2016 a quick look brought up a Fabia. could make an interesting project perhaps RE: here's an idle thought - - - bigcheez2k3 - 22-08-2016 It was a 106 https://www.carthrottle.com/post/wbx7k6k/ RE: here's an idle thought - - - Poodle - 23-08-2016 Grand vitara is pretty similar iirc, was looking at doing something similar a couple of years back. RE: here's an idle thought - - - toseland - 25-08-2016 Grand vitara, and the lwb vitara are still both too short. Would need to lengthen the trailing arms and move the spring seats and shocks back a little to get the clearance for the rear axle. Whilst doing that it might have been worth sorting out a nice 4link setup to remove that shirty a arm RE: here's an idle thought - - - r3k1355 - 25-08-2016 (22-08-2016, 09:19 PM)bigcheez2k3 Wrote: It was a 106 https://www.carthrottle.com/post/wbx7k6k/ Lol, take one shit car and one decent one. Cut the decent one to bits and shove it all in the shit one, making one expensive shit one. |
