Window won't go up all the way - Matt - 14-05-2016 This started occurring last night! I can wind the window almost all the way up, last few inches becomes harder to turn. And then it will stop unable to turn as if it was all the way up, but it's sitting about 5mm from the top. I'm going to take the card off later today, but any idea what I should be looking at? RE: Window won't go up all the way - WiNgNuTz - 14-05-2016 Might wanna look at a good sized dose of MTFU! ![]() In all seriousness though, are you sure the window is going up square? Only asking, as I have an issue with the front passenger window in the barge, where the window drops forward slighly on its way up, causing it to pinch and become very difficult to raise. Might be worth checking the clip in the window runner, or making sure the channels are clear of any crap that could be restricting movement. ![]() RE: Window won't go up all the way - Niall - 14-05-2016 bet the grey clip that runs up the rear window runner has slipped or broken. Or, it runs up the foam seal that seals the window. If that isn't pushed all the way into the door then it will jam. RE: Window won't go up all the way - Matt - 14-05-2016 I'm stripping the door after work so will take a look at both ![]() RE: Window won't go up all the way - Matt - 14-05-2016 Sorted. Don't know what exactly it was. But I removed the card, removed all the seals, re aligned everything incase it was out. Put it all back together and it's fine again |
