GTI6 rear beam and front legs - Frankwood - 10-05-2016
i all :
I thought I'd make a quick thread just to share the love
Yesterday and today I fit a GTI6 rear beam on GMax shocks and GTI6 front legs on spax springs to my 1.4
I know there is no reason but my reason was the old drum beam had froze solid and was like driving a skateboard (my back still hurts)
It all went together pretty easy and just fell out, the only mod I had to do was to extend the brake pipe from the left to the right (as the brake bias is on the right side of the new beam)
She sits about 25mm lower, handles like a dream and feels like I'm driving a cloud (compared to the previous rough as f*ck beam)
Only thing left to do is to paint my steelies and its how I want it
(Apart from a new engine but that's a much later date)
