Heater blower problem - Pingaz - 04-05-2016

Hi,

One more problem on my S16

I have a problem on my S16 the heater blower doesn't stop spinning and cannot be controled by the ac unit buttons, I changed the blower motor does the same thing.

I checked on my 306 break and the blower works fine. What can it be ?

Thanks

Is it spinning slowly when set to 0 before the auto bit?

The heater fan/motor on the phase3 doesnt ever stop...unless ignition is off obviously. If you lack control, it maybe the resistor pack or controls

On a ph1, doesn't stop at zero either, but that is normal.

Yes I know, but mine is always on full speed, and cannot be controlled.

I changed the controls to. The resistor pack its embedded on the blower it self ?

So I took out the scuttle panel and i didn't find the resistor, i found this:

Mine is a ph1, any thoughts were the resistor at ?

On haynes manual says that is in that spot i belive, but i didnt find anyting

Thanks

Sorry to bother you all,

I kinda needed to sort this problem by my self,

I tried looking for the resistor pack, but its not under the scuttle panel (see pic above).

The blower it's only working at fully speed or speed 4, mine as an auto funtion to. If i click the AC or the recycling button, nothing happens. I see no light at them.

As i told above i changed the Blower motor.

Please help me, i'm dying Confused Confused

resistor on ac models are on the body of the blower motor iirc

Alright ! Many thanks !!

I replaced the motor and test it on my estate and the motor it's okay. Maybe its an wire loom issue?
