Right rear radius arm stuck - Frankwood - 28-04-2016

hi guys. Bought my first Peugeot 306 and I thought it was just a stiff ride anyway
It turns out the rear right is stuck all the way up (very uncomfortable lol)
I was wondering have the bearings gone and siezed the radius arm
Or is it possible that the shock has given up and just froze upwards?

The guy I bought it off had it parked up on a inclined drive way with the driveres side facing down over
It was sat for 5 month.

Many thanks In advance

I would say seized and dead.

Can unbolt the damper/shocker very easily but my money is on a dead beam

Yeah that's more than likely the beam, rust gets in and seizes the bearings to the shaft.

Is anyone selling a beam? I would prefer a drum one, but if someone has a disk beam with all the callipers.
I'd consider that

buyer beware with private sales, but it must be as described. How was it described??

He said he was told it had beam problems
But I just thought it was on its way out
Not like this
But I don't know anything about peugeots tbh
