Right rear radius arm stuck - Frankwood - 28-04-2016 hi guys. Bought my first Peugeot 306 and I thought it was just a stiff ride anyway It turns out the rear right is stuck all the way up (very uncomfortable lol) I was wondering have the bearings gone and siezed the radius arm Or is it possible that the shock has given up and just froze upwards? The guy I bought it off had it parked up on a inclined drive way with the driveres side facing down over It was sat for 5 month. Many thanks In advance RE: Right rear radius arm stuck - Piggy - 29-04-2016 I would say seized and dead. Can unbolt the damper/shocker very easily but my money is on a dead beam RE: Right rear radius arm stuck - Toms306 - 29-04-2016 Yeah that's more than likely the beam, rust gets in and seizes the bearings to the shaft. RE: Right rear radius arm stuck - Frankwood - 29-04-2016 Is anyone selling a beam? I would prefer a drum one, but if someone has a disk beam with all the callipers. I'd consider that RE: Right rear radius arm stuck - pug306driver - 29-04-2016 buyer beware with private sales, but it must be as described. How was it described?? RE: Right rear radius arm stuck - Frankwood - 29-04-2016 He said he was told it had beam problems But I just thought it was on its way out Not like this But I don't know anything about peugeots tbh |
