You mean the dpf, or the map?

RE: Anyone on here doing remaps? - lolsteve - 13-04-2016

Feel free to correct me if im wrong but you can't map out a blocked DPF. When it's blocked the engine registers it and keeps trying to regen so if you map it out it'll just keep regenning all the time.
Need to have it unblocked then it can be mapped out and removed , remove it from the car then try soaking in caustic soda and jet blasting out any crap to see if you can get it clean enough for the car to register it's not blocked any more

you can alter it so its not looking for the dpf.

then remove the dpf.

simple.

RE: Anyone on here doing remaps? - tuttyboy84 - 13-04-2016

And im going to drill the dpf out so its not blocked anymore

RE: Anyone on here doing remaps? - welshpug - 13-04-2016

depends which type, i've done some that you can unbolt, just smashed it out with a scaff pole

RE: Anyone on here doing remaps? - tuttyboy84 - 13-04-2016

Well im crossing my fingers its that one then lol

There are two types, one unbolts, and one you need to cut it open and weld it.

It's actually easier when you cut it open as you can pull the whole lump out rather than drilling it, but you'll need a welder.

indeed, it actually took less time to decat my BMW than it did to sort out a mates 2.2 406 coupe.
