A lot of vapour on cold - Matt - 09-03-2016

I'm getting a lot of white smoke/vapour from the exhaust when it's cold, I know it's normal on cold, but once the temp is up it still smokes a little :/

I'm mega paranoid about the Rallye at the moment and want to sort things out

Haha it's not that, although I did think it at one point. I can see it out the back window haha

How far do you normally drive it?

RE: A lot of vapour on cold - Matt - 10-03-2016

It's 7miles to work

You won't be warming it up fully in my opinion.

Condensation in the exhaust etc

We get it, you vape... Tongue

As above though, 7 miles isn't far enough to warm it up, particularly if you've got heaters on as well.

I have the same issue. It looks like I'm driving a cloud to work. I kept an eye on the coolant levels for a bit and had no change.
It cleared up for a while after I took it on a heated trip around the windy roads :-).

7 mile aint enough to warm her up. Short and sweet aint the way go for a long drive to burn the moisture out

I'll take it for a spin round the island tomorrow after work and report back Wink
