steering fluid leak - sigmcp20 - 01-03-2016
I have a fluid leak from the car. drops all the fluid once car is turn on within us 1 hour. pours out from under. put it on a ramp and it looks like it's coming from where the knuckle goes into the steering rack. what can cause this and what can I do to remedy? hope not a new rack etc

if its where the knuckle is (pinion) then its the rack gone........sorry

OK cheers. looking online can pick up rack for £20-£35. just a case of disconnecting track rod ends and the rack out it comes ? or do u have to drop subframe
