No, it won't be compatible.

no its not. obd2 is only compatible with the hdi. You will need peugeot planet for any other model.

I don't think that's quite true is it? Some of the late petrol models are EOBD/OBD2 compatible as far as I know - my in-laws 2002 1.6 306 certainly appears to be.
