Instrument lights, dash lights not working - boggs - 24-01-2016

Hoping someone can help me out here my instrument cluster lights are not working nor are any of the lights in my dash such as heater controls etc.. The cd player lights are the only lights that are still working. I tried searching for this and the only thing that I found was that it could be the dimmer switch plug being loose but its properly plugged in so I am assuming its a fuse problem?

Could be the switch its self. Remove the plug from the back of it and use a bit of wire to link the two pins in use then try it
Alternatively, check the wiring to the lighting stalk is secure. Could also be a faulty stalk.

The switch has been ruled out :/ it could be a faulty stalk then? Any other possibilities fuses etc?
