Wanted: HDI FMIC Setup - CardHore - 08-05-2012 As above ta Re: Wanted: HDI FMIC Setup - welbourn422 - 08-05-2012 yea me 2 hahaha more likely gonna have to make it yourself mate ive been looking for ages and i found one but he wanted silly money for it but if you find any just laying around let me know Re: Wanted: HDI FMIC Setup - Poodle - 09-05-2012 Problem is there's no such thing as a ready-to-fit setup, so anyone who's spent time and effort making one up is going to want a good return on it. I'm going down the scrappy later, can pick up all the OEM pipes you need if you like..? After that it's just a case of buying an intercooler and a few short lengths of steel tube and silicone bends, exactly how many you need depends on how you do it. Re: Wanted: HDI FMIC Setup - CardHore - 09-05-2012 Mate yeah i suppose u could if its local get me a price at least for it all? I know someone who is in close contact with SFS Performance who are just as good if not better than samco. Hes my MR2 specialist but also very creative with new ideas. I guess he could make me a fresh setup. I wanna go with quite a filling intercooler. Also whats the turbo i need for aiming to get 170ish bhp otherwise a large intercooler will be wasted lol. Ta Re: Wanted: HDI FMIC Setup - Poodle - 09-05-2012 Price is £30 posted, £40 if you want me to clean them before posting lol. Pipes in question are these ones (not the engine cover, those things cost a bomb, another £20 if you want it): Re: Wanted: HDI FMIC Setup - CardHore - 09-05-2012 Ooooh looks good can u hold out till middle of the month? Is that there all i need... What i.c will be ideal to use with those pipes? Ta Wanted: HDI FMIC Setup - kentiiboii - 09-05-2012 Can I ask what are these pipes from I think it's 406 and c2 is it not? Just thinking when I go scrappy if I find one I can take them ready for when I get a fmic Re: Wanted: HDI FMIC Setup - Poodle - 09-05-2012 Cardhore, answer's already been posted: Poodle Wrote:Problem is there's no such thing as a ready-to-fit setup, so anyone who's spent time and effort making one up is going to want a good return on it. Just to confirm; these pipes will do most of the setup, but you need a few more plus an intercooler to complete. And Kentii, those pipes are from a 406 or C5, not a C2. |
