Silly question about VO(language), and also about the environment - Iaitoo - 28-12-2015 Been looking into running my dturbo on VO. And from what I read on these forums, you talk about VO as one oil, and rapeseed and sunflower etc as different oils. What is VO? Here in Norway VO is just the common name for all cooking oils coming for plants. So we call rapeseed a vegetable oil. So this is my silly language question Also, is VO better for the environment? It comes from a much more renewable source ofc, but hows the emissions from the car? Nox, Co2 etc? RE: Silly question about VO(language), and also about the environment - cully - 29-12-2015 terms used over here are... SVO = Straight Vegetable Oil WVO = Waste Vegetable Oil RE: Silly question about VO(language), and also about the environment - Iaitoo - 29-12-2015 (29-12-2015, 09:15 AM)cully Wrote: terms used over here are... Aye, but Straight Vegetable Oil, is that rapeseed etc? or do you have one oil named vegetable oil? Cause it sometimes seems like that when I read posts about it. Thanks for the reply RE: Silly question about VO(language), and also about the environment - bashbarnard - 29-12-2015 Veg oil, rapeseed oil, sunflower oil, soya oil is all classed as VO. SVO is new.
