Drop links - and now tie rods :) - Iaitoo - 15-12-2015 Hey. Need some advice on drop links and quality. Is there a big difference in your experience? Looking at these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/PEUGEOT-306-PARTNER-FRONT-Anti-roll-Stabiliser-Drop-Link-Rods-Sway-Bar-x-2-/330801042419?hash=item4d054753f3:m:m1hb6FdTr_xzD7IGP7Wswuw&vxp=mtr and the little more expensive http://www.ebay.com/itm/For-PEUGEOT-306-GTI-FRONT-STABILISER-ANTI-ROLL-BAR-DROP-LINKS-PAIR-/330494961225?hash=item4cf308e649:g:e90AAOSw9N1VuIpz&vxp=mtr Or even these. http://www.ebay.com/itm/PEUGEOT-306-93-03-PLASTIC-FRONT-ANTI-ROLL-STABILISER-DROP-LINK-BAR-PAIR-SET-X2-/151333054041?hash=item233c272659:g:tKgAAOSwo8hTo-zd&vxp=mtr Almost same price, but different sellers. RE: Drop links - PugRory - 15-12-2015 Give you a tip, Don't buy off eBay, head to your nearest parts dealer RE: Drop links - Mattcheese31 - 15-12-2015 What he said ^^^ RE: Drop links - HDi--Power - 15-12-2015 Get the Meyle heavy duty ones, they seem to last the best from my experience. RE: Drop links - Frosty - 15-12-2015 What they have said really, cheap 1s tend to be cheap for a reason with drop links, especially ebays 1s. Better to spend a few extra quid on them IMO RE: Drop links - Iaitoo - 15-12-2015 Thanks for the input. They cost twice as much at my local dealer. But if its worth it, I will surely buy those ![]() Does that go for the inner tie rods as well? My local dealer only sells the outer ones. Looked at these http://www.ebay.com/itm/PEUGEOT-306-1993-2002-INNER-TIE-ROD-END-RACK-END-/301722780646?hash=item46401443e6:g:bMYAAOSwMmBV3GWM Not sure if mine actually needs changing. But the inside of one of the front tires is worn very unevenly, so I just want both outer and inner done, and align it. RE: Drop links - and now tie rods :) - Redordead89 - 16-12-2015 Yes! Oem parts will last much longer and perform far better these most cheaper pattern parts and when it comes to chassis/ suspension components you're not going to go far wrong with Oem replacements even if theyre twice the price! Some cheap aftermarket drop links and associated parts will only last as far as next years MOT and possibly cause you hassle again so go the extra few £ and buy from a reputable Peugeot source! RE: Drop links - and now tie rods :) - Poodle - 16-12-2015 I've had ebay bushes and other parts fail in under 3 months before, spend the extra and save doing the job again in a couple of thousand miles. RE: Drop links - and now tie rods :) - welshpug - 16-12-2015 o.e droplinks were TRW. RE: Drop links - and now tie rods :) - PugRory - 16-12-2015 Buy cheap pay twice dude! that's what I go with haha RE: Drop links - and now tie rods :) - mr_fish - 16-12-2015 (16-12-2015, 01:54 PM)welshpug Wrote: o.e droplinks were TRW. hmmmm.....thats why mine lasted so long RE: Drop links - and now tie rods :) - Frosty - 16-12-2015 (16-12-2015, 01:54 PM)welshpug Wrote: o.e droplinks were TRW.
